Nintendo's product philosophy: lateral thinking with withered technology

Interesting article how the design philosophy of one man - Gunpei Yokoi - made Nintendo the successful company it was, after the trading card game crashed in the 60's (and they even branched out into taxi's and love hotels!) Basically: don't use new technology, use the existing one but create innovative products with them.
