3 Body Problem

don't remember the first book at all.  Read it in 2017

Netflix series is very Americanised, and takes place in London. Enjoyable enough though the latter four episodes derail quite a bit.

Started reading the second book (after skimming the first book)

Cixin Liu - "The Three-Body Problem"

Interesting enough by itself, about aliens who can for sure take over the earth, and communicate this, to a strange satellite post in the north of China.

Yet it failed to capture me. Too long ago to remember why, though.
