Stranger Than Paradise (1984)

Typically Jim Jarmusch; from the steady-cam-on-character-with-song start, to the disjointed fragments of how people live their lives, not shunning the difficult silences. The audio that keeps running just 1 sec after the fragment has turned black... the acting, which wasn't too good, yet at the same time felt pure because those are people who do not act, who are simply who they are...

Pretty amazing, though not a film you watch out of sheer fun.
