Aravind Adiga - "The White Tiger"

winner of the man booker prize 2008
Got it from a friend, just started. Must say I have to get used to his way of writing. It keeps nagging me that I cannot understand the reasoning of someone writing a letter like this to the Highest Chinese statesperson. Yes, it is explained, he will visit India to understand how entrepeneurs work, but ... there is something amiss in his sentences, his rambling... too much information. yet I am doing the very same thing, almost.
There are some good descriptions though, and I'm only at page 41 yet.
Finally, I wrote this:  Finished "White Tiger". Took me quite some time to get used to his tone of voice. Didn't buy it at the beginning... but got to like it, and the chapter where he speaks to the City and the City spoke back to him through beggars and girls on the street was simply amazing. Haven't been to India but many things sounded "Asian"... still, what did I miss?
